MINI-SYNOPSIS

Men in America have been nurtured in a culture which values the ability to dominate others.  Desire to fix financial markets to unfairly and now dangerously accrue tremendous profit is a pernicious form of dominance.  Many men quite often subtly apply the threat of violence to enforce dominance, or may become violent in an attempt to reject dominance, should its demands appear too great to be tolerable.  As the economy continues to decline, violence is becoming more widespread.

Prophecy and recent history indicate that this culture of dominance and increasing violence cannot be sustained much longer.  A cascading social explosion is brewing, with additional, dire consequences almost certain to follow, unless...

Only by removing, with considered urgency, potential for that most insidious and latently ruthless method of dominance in the world today, the tacit threat of renewal of nuclear war, can moral Americans secure their best possible future.  And that's particularly because the risk of nuclear war, however slight it might seem in the foreseeable future, is becoming, I posit, a horrendous creator of excess secondary violence.

For the political demand of ethical citizens to be effective in this issue, advocacy needs to be funneled through a faithful "remnant" of society's recognized morality-teaching institutions: churches, synagogues, and mosques.  Moral leadership is also needed to support legitimate demands for greater fairness in domestic politics, so that interests which would profit from war or have predatory business plans (for example, international banks and pharmaceutical companies) can no longer control the national agenda.

SYNOPSIS OF PROPHECY REVEALED DOT INFO FOR APRIL 2009

Prophecyrevealed.info is an interpretation of Bible prophecy for the end of the age of warfare in the year 2012.  It is based upon numerical and verbal synchronicity between and among widely separated passages of Scripture, Jewish and Christian holidays, American national days, celestial and political events since the year 2000.  Political events covered also extend intensively back to World War II; and , to a lesser extent, to World War I, the long previous history of Christendom, and the Jewish prophetic tradition.

The first cluster of 20 notable celestial synchronicities during the 12-year period of the end- times occurred from May 28th to 31st, 2000, while the first specifically included political and cultural events did not take place until Rosh Hashanah, September 29, 2000.  It’s possible that the political events which will usher in the heart of the great tribulation--the last 3-1/2 years of the age from January 5, 2009 to July 4, 2012--will also be delayed in their full impact by up to several more months.

However, we have just entered the last one-third of a period of 50 days--corresponding to the period of waiting for Pentecost after Jesus’ resurrection--when the first lives of the tribulation appear to be prophesied to be taken in martyrdom.  Four additional synchronicities, two U.S.-identifying cultural clusters and two periods echoing the “three days and three nights” when Christ declared that He would “be in the heart of the earth,” round out the most complex of my three interpretations of the 24 “elders,” who are mentioned 12 times in the Book of Revelation.

My earlier understanding that, in the worst possible scenario, the earth is parallel-prophesied to endure nuclear missile strikes--and possibly exchanges--at the inception to the heart of the tribulation, was superseded near the midst of last month.  At that point, news of Rev. David Wilkerson’s “An Urgent Message” of 3/7/2009, a prediction of soon-coming massive rioting and firebombing in major cities across the country and around the world, reached me.

The next day, 3/14/2009, I was satisfied that such a development was much more likely in the immediate future than nuclear missile strikes on the eastern Middle East by Russia and China.  Eight recent signs/dates of rapidly impending catastrophe, with five yet to come, are chronicled in my latest essay, “Late March 2009 Summary,” accessible from the Table of Contents.

The message remains that modern society has become way too violent to be sustained in its present form and order for scarcely any longer.  Aggressive attempts at massive thievery in the financial markets should be perceived as a particularly pernicious form of violence that has hardly begun to be contained, and cannot assuredly be contained, until violence is eschewed--forgone--at its most grossly threatening point: the existence of active nuclear weapons.

While I commend President Obama’s very recent recommitment of the nation to the central disarmament goal of the NPT, I’m as certain as I can be that this declaration hasn’t got the urgency to help forestall the looming second great crisis--and reasonably expected dire developments to follow--in the tribulation.  The President spoke of possible decades to obtain such a treaty.  The way things are today, we haven’t got anywhere near that kind of time before we’re liable to be faced with a hot threat of the resumption of nuclear war.

The previous synopsis, which is displayed following this one, demonstrates the possibility of error in my work at two points.  First, the prediction of nuclear missile strikes for last autumn was much premature, and second, the call for Mr. Cheney’s impeachment and conviction, together with the resignation of Mr. Bush under conditions of overwhelming public disapproval, was not realized.

I made the latter call based upon a prophecy in the Book of Daniel that I now understand to have been the best option available from a vast range of parallel prophecies, which began to take shape after Bush-Cheney rejected the too-weak demand of the electorate in the 2006 Congressional elections, to find a way to begin withdrawing from Iraq--and not to start the troop surge which was finally announced in January 2007.  In September 2008, reporters Alan Glantz of New America Media and Patrick Cockburn of The Independent/UK wrote that the ‘surge’ had proved to be unnecessary because the heavy sectarian violence which prevailed in Iraq in 2006 and roughly the first half of 2007 had almost expended itself before the extra troops could arrive in significant numbers.

A similar, yet stronger, demand to respect the sovereignty of Pakistan’s wish for the United States not to pursue nor attack suspected terrorists, nor their sympathizers, on Pakistani territory is needed now, but is essentially nonexistent.  Reporter Gareth Porter charged last September, credibly I believe, that the new Pakistan policy of frequent bombings by Predator drones was urged on the Administration by operatives at DOD Special Operations Command and the c.i.a., basically to build their careers.

The 2006 election attempt to reign in the brutal tendencies of military and intelligence professionals is probably the best that society can expect to do without the help of ecclesiastical authority.  If they knew better, I would say, “Shame on otherwise moral Americans and their recognized moral leaders for ignoring the issue this time, while corporate and military interests continue to make money and build their fiefdoms based upon the phony war on terror, more than seven years after 9/11.”

As it is, there is no way to stop or further postpone from falling, the other foot prophesied near to the beginning of the tribulation.  Covert operations were approved for the c.i.a. for two major reasons of which I am aware: (1) to counter evolving postwar Soviet expansionism in the late 1940s, and (2) to safeguard our nuclear secrets.

The bellicose and threatening Soviet Union is no more.  The cruelty of covert operations cries out to be buried with nuclear arms.  When moral America learns and applies the validity of this proposition, then we can have the lasting peace which has been foretold for 2,500 years.

Or it could get far worse, with the country--together with its economy--utterly failing; as depicted in Revelation Chapter 18.  Responsibility for continuing outrages of “preemptive” aggression ultimately rests with the electorate.  The voice of reasonable and logical--as well as heartfelt--compassion absolutely must find a way to make itself heard and respected.

I believe it is reasonable to assert that the doctrine of preemptive war had, at best, a weak foundation in American history, as understood and envisioned by the bulk of Americans prior to 9/11.  Regardless of the current Administration’s attempts to show a liberal face, in the case of Pakistan, the bad options conjured up, and foisted upon America and the world by the previous Administration’s zeal for military solutions, and a generally more authoritarian approach as well, remain in full, and potential, force.

The persistence of foreign policies of gruesome, ghastly violence points to another fundamental political need, hopefully to be accomplished during the next 39 months until the end of the age.  And that’s to overhaul election procedures, and decision-making processes, especially in Congress, but also in the Administration, and possibly also in the courts, although progress in the other branches might persuade the judiciary to liberalize without much outside influence.

Without some of the recognized moral leaders in the country declaring, and continuing to reassert in creative ways, that our economic and military leaders, and their supporters, have taken the nation into perilous territory where it can no longer thrive, I believe we may be certain that the pressures and judgments of the tribulation will continue to escalate.

I heard in conversation that it was suggested on television commentary that one plausible reason the automobile companies were treated so harshly by the Administration last week, while previously the banks and insurance companies had continued their receipt of bailouts without particular scrutiny, is that the financial corporations have kept the wheels of political contribution to Washington well oiled, while the car companies haven’t.

Dismantling this corrupt and increasingly hazardous arrangement, and instead winning for the common citizen and his/her clergy which sticks to the most global issues only, the most influential voice in government, is plainly, to this observer, the domestic task of the tribulation.

An AP article on April 5th reported that in the past month more than 50 people have died “in American mass shootings and their aftermaths.”  Last week 31 lives were snuffed out in four such incidents.  For the first time I am aware of in the media, the article questioned the value of the American dream as a motivating factor gone wrong in these incidents.

However, as I hope you, my reader, are beginning to appreciate, my point is that the international business climate of largely getting away with whatever a company can do to make a buck, including enlisting the covert services of the c.i.a. in some instances, while everyone lives under the overarching, subtle potential for the renewal of nuclear war, is making individuals more prone to mental instability.  I don’t perceive how domestic business attitudes can be substantially better.

It’s time for America’s influential citizens to at last begin to accept these unpleasant truths, and work with clergy and others to decisively move the nation toward a new political order much more focused upon the moral teachings of the world’s great religions.  I have explained elsewhere on this site that the Western religions point to a mysterious “silver lining” in life, which could substitute very nicely for the economic American dream, whereas the Eastern paths to God can assist the earnest seeker to actually experience God within.
